The dress is made completely out of balloons.

And the balloon in the back is actually there hah, just two questions I thought might come up and wanted to answer right off.

Marie the dress designer, when talking to Kandy about doing a shoot, said she had a lot of studio work, but nothing outside. So they asked me if I could come up with something, and I decided to start calling Hot Air Balloon companies to fanagle them into letting me use one for the morning.

Anyhow, after much stress, waking up at 4am multiple times and drinking bailys spiked coffee in excess, we finally got it all together.

I wanted the idea to come across as a surreal character that lived in some sort of alternative world or place where the fashion was off the wall like balloon dresses, and was escaping in her towns main form of transportation, which was hot air balloons.

Every travel has bumps in the roads though, yet she seems that it was expected, and is just looking for what to do next and get on with her journey.

And the line "Smooth Sailing on Waveless Skys" is just a play off of a line in my latest journal entry. Basically an ironic line on life you could say.
