This was during the Temple Burn on the last day of Burning Man, which is kind of a much different burn then the rest of them. It was very quite and still for the whole thing, which is amazing to be a part of. In the Temple lots of people leave belongings or notes of important people that they have lost, and so to watch the collective sadness and letting go that happens all at once for thousands of people is very emotional. Even if you are a big ass male who never crys, it's very hard to sit there and not feel it! Anyhow I wasn't sure how I wanted to capture night time at Burning Man, because usually it's all a party and everyone is happy, but I wanted to kind of show the peace and moments people got to sit and think about their lives and what the fuck just happened. Anyhow so I rode around just taking pictures of people standing still and thinking! More to come!
