From the wedding shoot with
*jessmarie My Favorite Ninja Sidekick now. Anyhow, photos like these are kind of why I love photography. For a couple reasons I suppose. Sometimes I get a good idea that I would like to execute a certain way. But the reality of the situation is that things don't go the way you plan, ever. And you have to be ready for that and capable of pulling things off despite lacking ideal conditions. We planned on doing this Ball And Chain photo for awhile, where the bride was the ball! But when we looked at the time frame for the day, we kind of realized it might not happen the way I wanted, because the ceremony ended when the light of day ended. Leaving me basically no room to shoot it outside. But I took what was about five minutes of light, which was for the most part no light at all, and threw everything together as fast as possible and shot like 10 photos, with a ridiculous ISO. I ended up getting something sharp enough, and something light enough, and something that resembled the idea I wanted to get across. So although it's not perfect, it leaves me more satisfied then most other photos. Anyhow, yea woman are like a ball and chain! Be careful. |

Love it.
I love this photograph though, I think it's fantastic, very good work visually and conceptually, and it'a also entertaining.
I can interpert it for myself as the bride being dragged along and is simply like dead weight as the chaines killed her spirit.
Maybe Im a strange woman for this...but nonetheless, that's what I see.
